New York artist Linda Kuehne is a landscape photographer interested in the built environment. Her current concerns deal with the changing suburban landscape throughout the United States since 2008 and the decline of the American Dream. She received a BA from Sarah Lawrence College. Her work has been exhibited in contemporary art galleries and museums including the Katonah Museum of Art, the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, Kean University and A.I.R. Gallery.

The artist's father was an avid photographer and she picked up her first camera when she was 14. For many years Kuehne had a darkroom in her home basement where she printed her own silver gelatin prints. She studied photography, attending classes at SUNY Purchase in Purchase, New York. She received a BA from Sarah Lawrence College. Kuehne worked at a major publishing house in New York, later becoming the director of an art center outside of New York City. She has been a full-time photographer for the past 15 years. Her work has been exhibited in contemporary art galleries and museums throughout the New York metropolitan area and beyond. For the past eight years she has split her time between the East Coast and Arizona, photographing suburban development and/or decline in both places.
